Bella has taken her preschool superlative of “Most Likely To Be An Artist” very seriously, carrying creativity into every part of her life. After moving from Indonesia to Charlotte, North Carolina at age four, she turned to arts and crafts to express her thoughts and emotions when language was a barrier. Her parents encouraged her curiosity, letting her explore all the projects at Michaels, where she found her first needle arts project - a dolphin cross-stitch for her fourth-grade teacher.

In the fall of 2021, during a work sabbatical, Bella revisited her love for creative hobbies and discovered a nearby needlepoint shop. She left with three projects of varying sizes and difficulty levels—and has pursued her passion of needlepoint ever since.

Bella is currently living her big city dreams in Chicago alongside her chunky gray tuxedo cat, Chappie. When she's not needlepointing, she's sipping matcha lattes, taking figure skating lessons, or binge watching reality TV shows!
